Brush Up Nebraska Paint-a-thon is in it’s 22nd year! Painting days are approaching quickly!  The Paint-a-thon will be held on Saturday, August 7 (prep day) and August 14 (paint day).  BRUSH UP NEBRASKA Paint-A-Thon is a community based volunteer program that paints the homes of low-income elderly and low-income disabled homeowners so that they may maintain their property, increase energy efficiency, and beautify the community.  Painting their home creates a new sense of pride for the homeowners, and benefits the area.  Countryside’s own Tom and Sheila Pettigrew, Executive Director of BRUCH UP NEBRASKA, shared that in past 21 years.
