Sacraments

Countryside practices two sacraments: Baptism and Communion (The Lord’s Supper)

Baptism

Baptism is the opportunity for parents of infants to announce that they wish to raise their child in a Christian home and to seek God’s grace and blessing through the waters of baptism or is an opportunity for an older youth or adult to announce their intention that they accept Jesus as their guide and want to live as a Christian. Baptism is a visible sign of an invisible event: the presence and acceptance of God in our lives.

Communion (The Lord’s Supper)

Communion is the meal that Jesus gave us and said, “Do this in remembrance of me.”

We Celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month, as well as Maundy Thursday. All Christians are welcome to participate in our communion services.
