Related Organizations
The Samaritan Counseling Center of the Midlands (SCCM) is a nonprofit, interfaith, professional counseling center supported by client fees and contributions. Countryside Community Church was instrumental in the formation of the SCCM and supports the center with contributions and referrals. The governing board for the center includes members of Countryside Community Church.
Services available from SCMM include:
- Counseling and psychotherapy
- “Families In Transition”, a program to foster cooperative relationships between divorced parents
- Substance abuse evaluations and counseling
- Mediation/conflict resolution
- Premarital counseling

Connections
Countryside Community Church is an active member of Connections, an organization of churches from a variety of denominations. Connections’ vision includes sponsoring speakers and activities that foster religious diversity, spiritual vitality, and education. Presentations by Ann Lamott (September 2007) and Matthew Fox (January 2008) are examples of such events.
