Worship at Countryside

Worship is the opportunity to gather for insight, transcendence, and community.

Child care is provided for all services. Sunday school age children begin in the sanctuary with their parents and then are dismissed for Sunday school after about fifteen minutes.

Countryside offers three services each Sunday year round at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and now a 5:00 PM Darkwood Brew Service.

9:00 a.m. “Classical Service”

This service is a multi-sensory classical music service that features a mix of pipe organ and classical instrumental music regularly provided by musicians from the Omaha symphony.  The service also includes choirs  (adult and/or youth or children), prayer, multimedia, scripture, and an engaging message focused on relating our ancient faith to everyday life.

11:00 a.m. “Jazz Service”

This is a multi-sensory jazz service featuring a quartet made up of some of Omaha’s finest jazz musicians.  The service also includes choirs (youth and/or adult or children), prayer, multimedia, scripture, and an engaging message focused on relating our ancient faith to everyday life.

5:00 p.m. “Darkwood Brew”

This is our new service that takes place in our “Coffeehouse” area.  This service is streamed over the internet and is geared toward small groups.  There is an abundance of group discussion as well as all the coffee you can drink.  Please visit the Darkwood Brew website at www.darkwoodbrew.org.
