Canceled: Countryside Hors d’oeurve Contest

This event has been CANCELED due to the weather.  Countryside’s annual Hors D’oeuvre Contest Friday, February 22, 6:00 PM at the home of Stephanie and Joe Sacco, 2256 S. 186 Street. This annual event is all about friends, old and new, food and relaxation! You are asked to prepare your favorite hors d’oeuvre, enough to share with roughly 50 people, name it and bring it along with your favorite adult beverage of choice. Everyone gets the pleasure of tasting all of the hors d’oeuvres entered in the contest. (that’s the best part!) Then, ballots are passed out and voting begins for the four identified categories; Game Day – most easily replicated for the game day crowd, Lazy Way Out! – for those who don’t, won’t or forgot to cook something, BAM!! – most eye appealing and Julia Child’s Award of Excellence – best overall entry. It is an evening of great food, warm conversation, friendly competition and loads of laughter!
