Our Ministries
Pastoral Care Ministry
At Countryside, our pastors are always willing to provide you with compassionate direction, care and advice when called upon to do so. They do not do long-term personal counseling. They can provide some counseling when only one or two counseling sessions are needed. If longer-term counseling is needed, we refer to professional Christian counselors.
Stephen Ministry
Countryside has an active Stephen Ministries program. The trained participants provide nurture and care for members of the congregation who are facing crises, such as illness or divorce, or who find themselves in transition, such as unemployment or relocation.
Health Ministry
The mission of Countryside’s Health Ministry is to promote and advocate whole person health while producing an opportunity for the congregation and the community to grow in body, mind and spirit.
- The Health Ministry manifests itself in these areas:
- Health educators, promoting wellness
- Health counselors, encouraging personal responsibility
- Liaison with community resources
- Integration of faith and health
- Home Assessment visits on referral from Pastors, Stephen Ministers, staff and individuals
You may contact your health ministers by calling the church, or by email: healthministries@countrysideucc.org.
