Stewardship
The Gifts of Time
Countryside practices human as well as financial stewardship. As a congregation we are channels for God’s blessings, and the commitment of our treasure (financial contributions), time and talents benefit so many. God will give it to you if He can give it through you. In order to sustain the growth of our church the time given by members of our congregation must be applied through our ministries and programs.
We see the Spirit in Action as the gift of time empowers Countryside Community Church:
- Multiplication of ministry – discipleship over time is more effective
- Maximizing of resources and spheres of influence
- Third party endorsement/public information – the commitment of time tells the community more about our church family
- New ideas – members of our church family have great ideas that need to be nurtured
- Ministry ideas – mobilizes the church family by getting them out of the spectator seats
- Assimilation – human stewardship finds a place for every member of the church family to serve
