A Letter from your Stewardship Team

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Dear Countrysider,

Thank you for your financial generosity to Countryside Community Church and the missions it promotes in our community and the world. Last year, your stewardship committee asked everyone to Imagine More. You responded. You responded. It changed lives, it brought new energy to our missions, and it proved that as a church community we will Imagine More for others too. Now, we need your help in 2026 to continue to build on last year’s successes and the needs of a growing congregation. These successes are highlighted in the new Imagine More brochure. Please learn what your gifts to the church accomplished and why increasing your gift will elevate God’s work.

Dr. Rev. Jenny recently said, “Every contribution — every dollar, every hour, every act of service — furthers Countryside’s mission, a story of God’s abundance at work:

  • A child beaming in angel wings at Christmas Eve, running down the aisle with little lambs and shepherds, retelling God’s story of love in ways only children can.
  • A mother at our community pantry, weeping with relief because she can feed her kids.
  • A child singing in choir, finding not just music but a voice in faith.
  • A stranger at Pride, handed one of 5,000 bracelets, who for the first time felt a church say: you are not a stranger, you belong.
  • A blood drive donor whose quiet act of generosity saved three lives they will never meet.

This is not charity. This is discipleship. This is abundant life made visible.

Please, as we continue to embrace our four mission areas: Tri-Faith, Arts and Worship, Christian Education, and Social Justice and Mission, help us by giving more from gratitude to meet our $1.5 million dollar budget in 2026. Luke 6:38 says: “Give and it will be given to you.”  It is true, we often receive in return more bounty than we give. A return card is enclosed which will help you decide how to provide your gift in 2026 and which will help Countryside Imagine More as we energize God’s love for everyone.
