Dr. Anna Crews Camphouse Will Start May 1

Countryside Community Church announced Dr. Anna Crews Camphouse as the Interim Minister of Engagement and Formation starting May 1, 2021. Dr. Crews Camphouse has over 20 years of experience in intercultural communication, community organizing, mentoring, political action, church management, and health advocacy.
“We look forward to welcoming Pastor Anna to the Countryside church community,” said Tracey Halvorson, Moderator at Countryside Community Church. “We were impressed with her unique attributes, experience, energy, and creativity. We feel she will help lead Countryside through the end of the pandemic and into a collective future. Pastor Anna will also work closely with church leadership as Countryside fully embraces their role as the Christian presence on the Tri-Faith Commons. The future of Countryside Community Church is very exciting.”
Dr. Crews Camphouse has a background in ICU nursing, decades of pastoral experience, and a doctorate in pastoral care and counseling. She is currently the senior pastor at Eastern Sierra Shared Ministry in Owens Valley, Calif.
“A primary need of the Countryside congregation is working through our collective grief,” said Dr. Anna Crews Camphouse. “I enjoy small group ministry and believe that is the best way for members to feel engaged. I’m looking forward to the creativity involved in this position.”
