Countryside is thrilled to announce that Adam Witte has officially been named our Director of Worship and Arts.
Since stepping into this role in a designated capacity, Adam has brought extraordinary creativity, thoughtfulness and spiritual depth to our worship and arts ministry. Under his leadership, our congregation has experienced meaningful, engaging worship and a deeper connection to the sacred through music and the arts. It quickly became clear that Adam was not only the right person for this work—he was already a beloved and vital part of our church family.
Adam will continue to oversee a comprehensive ministry that includes worship planning, arts programming across all ages, and musical leadership. He will remain the conductor of our adult choir and bell choir and will collaborate closely with our pastoral team to shape the artistic and spiritual vision of worship at Countryside.
Adam brings a wealth of experience to this ministry. Beyond his work with us, he serves as assistant artistic director for the River City Mixed Chorus and leads its outreach-focused River’s Edge ensemble. He is also the assistant conductor and ensemble section leader at Résonance, a premier semiprofessional vocal ensemble.
Previously, Adam conducted both auditioned and non-auditioned choirs at Creighton University for eight years and served as Director of Music and Worship at a large, suburban United Methodist Church for more than seven years. Music has always been central to his identity, a passion shaped by its deep connection to spiritual life.
Adam’s love for people, education and the transformative power of choral music continues to inspire us. His ministry reflects what we believe worship can and should be: a reflection of God’s inclusive love, a place where gifts are shared and spirits are renewed—a true expression of Your Place, Your People, Your Home.
We are incredibly fortunate to have Adam as a leader and colleague, and we celebrate this next chapter in his ministry with us. Be sure to stop by Common Grounds this Sunday, August 31, after worship to congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment!
