Jesus teaches that loving our neighbor as ourselves is every bit as important as loving God with all our hearts. But what about the neighbor who makes us uncomfortable, or is an enemy (or considers us one)? In this series, we will explore six parables that provide support, encouragement, and real-life tools for expanding the circle of relationships. In so doing, we will discover unexpected skills for dealing with difficult people. Through such relationships we encounter a God who works in ways that are as mysterious as they are wondrous. March 1: Parable of the Two Sons (Matt 21:28-32)
March 8: Parable of the Unforgiving Servant (Matt 18:23-35) Eric in Spain.
March 15: Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
March 22: Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31) Eric leading retreat.
March 29: Parable of the Invited Guests (Luke 14:12-24)
April 5: Palm Sunday Parable of the New Cloth/Wine Skins: (Mark 2:21-22; Palm Sunday text Luke 19:29-48)
