Tell Me Something Good!

Our 2026 Lent & Easter Calendar is here, and it’s filled with meaningful ways to journey through the season together. This year’s theme, Tell Me Something Good, invites us to notice hope, grace and good news—even in challenging times.

The calendar includes all our Lenten and Easter worship services, plus some new offerings we’re excited to share. First Light Brunch Worship is a brand-new, casual Sunday morning service featuring coffee, breakfast and worship—a gentle way to begin the day. We’re also offering Lenten Perspectives, a new Adult Education series on Sundays after regular worship, with a different topic each week.

On Mondays at noon, Pastor Jenny will lead a Lenten book study on Diana Butler Bass’ Grounded: Finding God in the World. And, of course, the beloved Labyrinth Prayer Walk returns as a quiet, reflective practice during the season. Download a PDF of the calendar. Join us as we walk through Lent and Easter together—listening for Something Good!

Lenten Devotional: Tell Me Something Good

Devotionals are available in the narthex and the church office for a suggested donation of $5.

Our friends at A Sanctified Art have provided a special e-reader version of this year’s Lenten devotional, which you can access on your computer and mobile devices. To access a free, online flip version or receive a free PDF version, email the office at office@ countrysideucc.org

This Lent, we invite you to slow down and spend time with a weekly devotional shaped around our seasonal theme, Tell Me Something Good. Beginning on Ash Wednesday and continuing through Easter Sunday, the devotional follows the scriptures we’ll hear in worship and offers space for reflection, prayer, and holy curiosity.

Each week includes thoughtful commentary, poetry, visual art, hymns, written reflections, and gentle prompts designed to help you notice where good news is breaking into your life and the world around you. You can move through the devotional at your own pace—on your own, with a partner, or alongside the wider Countryside community.

Devotionals are available in the narthex and the church office for a suggested donation of $5.

This Lent, may these reflections help ground you in the expansive goodness of God—and inspire you to live as good news people, wherever you are.
