Christian partner in tri-faith site may change; Countryside Community Church mulls offer

There are still plans for a Christian church at an interfaith site in west Omaha that already has a synagogue and space for a planned mosque, but it may not be built by the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska.

The diocese has offered to sell the land its foundation owns at the site to Omaha’s Countryside Community Church, a 1,200-member United Church of Christ congregation near 90th and Pacific Streets.

Bishop J. Scott Barker of the Episcopal Diocese said it’s his hope that Countryside will become the Christian presence at the interfaith campus.  Click Here to read entire article.
