From Groundbreaking to Now: Countryside, Then and Now

In 2015, Countryside accepted an invitation to become the Christian partner in the Tri-Faith Initiative—a bold vision to bring Jewish, Muslim, and Christian communities together as neighbors on the Tri-Faith Commons. After prayerful discernment and a congregational vote, the journey toward a new home began. On July 9, 2017, members and friends gathered to break ground for the building that would become Countryside’s home on the Commons. Today, that once-open field is a vibrant center for worship, learning, hospitality, and community life—a testament to the faith, generosity, and perseverance that brought us here. As you enjoy these “then and now” photographs, we give thanks for everyone who helped make this journey possible and extend special appreciation to Rick MacInnes for sharing the historic groundbreaking image.
