The Box for August is Partnership 4 Hope. Partnership 4 Hope (specifically their Youth Mart) is a community-based initiative designed to address the unique challenges that Young Adult Former Foster Youths face. The community and population it serves are young adults in the greater Omaha metropolitan area, nineteen years of age and older, who have “aged out” of the foster care system. The Youth Mart is a donation center that serves former foster youth ages 16 to 24 as they face the transition into living independently with little support from family. Young adults are allowed to shop free of charge at the Youth Mart for household essentials, furniture and personal care items.
Items being collected include young men and womens clothing, small household appliances, pots and pans, self-care items including toiletries and feminine products .
