Members of Countryside,
We are committed to keeping you updated on the hiring of the Interim Director of Youth Ministries. The interim position has been posted on Indeed and LinkedIn and can be found on Countryside’s website at countrysideucc.org/about-us/openpositions. If you know of anyone who would be qualified, please ask them to submit their resume to Dan Loven-Crum at danl@countrysideucc.org.
Hiring for an intentional Interim Director of Youth Ministries for a 9-12 month transition means looking for a very solid, grounded person who has experience and brings new energy, but knows the position is about rebuilding and supporting a healthy transition. We have plans to start interviewing for this interim position later this month. Members of the Board of Christian Education and Spiritual Growth, which includes parents, are involved in this hiring process. They reviewed the job description and offered suggestions of what they would like to know from a candidate. Several parents have been asked for their ideas.
During this interim period, the congregation will assess what Countryside needs in a long-term leader to support our youth and families. We want all of you to have an opportunity to have a voice in selecting our long-term person. An interim will give us time to discern what that long-term position will look like. More information about the process will be provided in the coming months.
