What if church was a place where young people felt fully seen, deeply valued, and free to ask big questions?
At Countryside Community Church, we believe it can be—and we’re looking for a bold, relational leader to help make it so.
We’re seeking a Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries to lead and reimagine ministry with middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults (ages 18–29). This is a full-time role for someone who is energized by building authentic relationships, creating meaningful experiences, and nurturing a faith that is curious, courageous, and rooted in love.
Grounded in progressive Christian theology and the United Church of Christ, this role is all about cultivating belonging—where no one has to check part of themselves at the door.
What You’ll Do
- Build engaging, inclusive programming for youth and young adults
- Create spaces where questions, doubts, and discovery are welcomed
- Develop retreats, service experiences, and leadership opportunities
- Mentor and equip volunteers to foster safe, supportive community
- Connect young people to worship, justice work, and the wider church
- Collaborate with partners on the Tri-Faith Commons, including the Tri-Faith Initiative
Who You Are
- A natural connector who builds trust with youth and young adults
- Creative, adaptable, and energized by trying new things
- Grounded in inclusive, justice-oriented faith
- A strong communicator and thoughtful leader
- Passionate about helping young people explore purpose and belonging
The Details
- Full-time, benefits included
- Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience strongly valued
- Competitive salary based on experience
