Collecting Canned Food Could Earn $500 for Pantry

Thrivent Financial is offering its members an opportunity to raise up to $500 for a local food shelf pantry. Countryside’s Community Cupboard has been chosen to participate in this challenge.
In order to receive the money, Countryside members and friends need to donate 500 cans of non-perishable items with protein preferred (chicken, tuna fish) and drop them in the box in the church’s entryway any day of the week from 8 AM – 6 PM from November 1 – 30. Or you can order from our Amazon wish list here. All items collected will be distributed through Countryside’s Community Cupboard pantry. Once we receive the 500 items volunteers will stack them into a creative design for the chance to win the $500 for the Community Cupboard. If you have any questions contact Mary Beth Link or Jim Gilbert. Thanks for helping!
