Come Walk the Labyrinth during Lent

Lent is a time for self-examination. It gives us an opportunity to look into our souls through prayer and to consider how we are succeeding—or failing to succeed—in following the example of Christ. … Walking the labyrinth has long been recognized in the Christian Church as a way to focus our minds on prayer.
Each week Countryside will  provide copies of the scripture beside the labyrinth, along with general suggestions for the labyrinth walk to help guide your labyrinth walk, if you would like some material to help you focus.
The  Chapel and Sanctuary at Countryside are open daily from 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday – Friday and we invite you to come walk the labyrinth we have set up. You do not need to set up an appointment, we just ask that there is only one person (or family on the labyrinth at a time). You may also use the Sanctuary for sitting in silence, reading the bible or other devotional readings. It is really up to you, how you would like to use your time. Masks and social distancing are required. The hours are Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM. Please email the office if you have any questions office@countrysideucc.org.
